Features
Track products you use, get email alerts when a matching U.S. recall is published, and search notices from CPSC, FDA, USDA, and NHTSA. The product is free right now.
Watchlists and alerts
Add brands, keywords, or products you care about. When a new notice matches, we email you. Built for households, restaurants, and stores.
Photo and barcode scan
Upload a picture of a package or barcode. We identify the product and search matching recalls so you can check a purchase on the spot.
Recall search
Search the same CPSC, FDA food, FDA MedWatch, USDA, and NHTSA notices we monitor. Open a recall to see lots, UPCs, models, locations, and the official link. Share opens a public page at app.recallkitchen.com/r/… that anyone can open without signing in; pasted links preview the title and image.
Dashboard
One place for notifications, inventory, scans, and settings. Add or remove products without a spreadsheet.
API and MCP
Software and agents can search recalls with a free API key, or pay per anonymous request with x402. Search by keyword, UPC, lot, VIN, or photo (HTTPS URL or data URI). Tool reference is in the developer docs.
If you get a recall alert
- Read the official notice. Match the brand, product name, lot, UPC, or model — not just the category.
- For food, do not eat the recalled item. Throw it out or return it as the notice says.
- For toys, appliances, and other goods, stop using the item until you confirm it is not listed.
- Keep the packaging or receipt if you plan to return it.
- When the notice and your shelf do not line up, treat the government source as the record: CPSC, FDA, USDA, NHTSA.
